Mechtronix Systems Inc. (MSI), the fastest growing leading provider of flight training equipment in the world, today officially announced the unveiling of a new generation A320 FFS X(TM). The unit was available for trial by customers, the aviation community and the press during the June 11th ceremony. The high fidelity A320 FFS X(TM) is the second of several built from Mechtronix for IFTC, the training arm of Gozen Group, TACA airlines and soon to be divulged customers. Mechtronix event marks the first official deployment of a true replication technology for an A320 training device after years of collaboration with the aircraft manufacturer and related OEM's. The Royal Australian Air Force’s Boeing 707 simulator today ‘took off’ for the last time at RAAF Base Richmond, in preparation for the real aircraft’s retirement from RAAF service. A small ceremony, involving members of Nos. 33 and 285 Squadrons, along with contracted support company CAE, and contract managers DMO, celebrated the historic final ‘flight’ of the simulator. Hyderabad, June 6 The Central Training Establishment (CTE), the premier trainer of pilots, engineering and cabin crew staff, will acquire five flight simulators to boost its facilities and meet the growing demands. The simulators, which will train pilots in Airbus and Boeing aircraft, would cost the CTE, part of Air India, around $60 million (each simulator is about $12 million). (0) No Comments. CAE UK Lands Hawk 128 Simulator |

Lockheed Martin has awarded CAE UK a contract worth more than C$24 million ($23.4 million) to design and manufacture two full-mission simulators to prepare students for operations with the UK Royal Air Force's future fleet of 28 BAE Systems Hawk 128 advanced jet trainers.
