CAE A380 Certified to Level D |

The world’s first A380 full-flight simulator (FFS), designed and manufactured by CAE for Airbus, has achieved Level D certification, the highest qualification for flight simulators. The CAE-built A380 FFS was certified to Level D by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). EASA was represented by members of the French Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile (DGAC), the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) and the German Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA).
