Frasca C-172 FTDs get Level 5 Approval for Shenzhen Airlines |

Two Frasca Cessna 172S level 5 Flight Training Devices (FTDs) were recently qualified by the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) for training by Shenzhen Airlines. The Frasca FTDs are located at Shenzhen’s Flight Training School, located in Wuzhou, Guangxi province, China. Shenzhen Airlines Company, Ltd., Shenzhen, China, purchased four Cessna 172 FTD from Frasca. Two units have been delivered with the remaining two units scheduled for delivery in February of 2009. |

Video Display Corporation, a world leader in visualization and display solutions, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary VDC Display Systems of Cape Canaveral, Florida has been selected by Aero Simulation Inc. to provide visual display systems for installation on CH-53E and CH-46E Aircrew Trainers (APTs). Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI), of Tampa Florida was awarded the primary contract for major upgrades to the CH-53E and CH-46E Aircrew Procedures Trainers by the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando. |

Thales Chinese Simulators Achieve Level D Certification |

 Thales has achieved Level D certification of the first Sichaun Airlines A320 Simulator in China.
This simulator is the first device of a package of two Full Flight and one TFST device that was awarded to Thales earlier this year in a contract valued in excess of US $ 20 million. |
